Q: Do you provide assisted living, Alzheimer's or skilled care?

A: No. Northgate Senior Village provides residential housing for seniors capable of independent living.


Q: Can you provide housing for people confined to a wheel chair?

A:  No. Our apartments were not designed for use with a wheel chair.


Q: My dad uses an electric three-wheeled scooter to get around, but can and does walk most of the time. Can he live at Northgate?

A:  Probably! We evaluate the use of scooters on a case-by-case basis.


Q:  Are bus services available to Northgate?

A:  Yes! The Boise City bus comes to the corner of Ellens Ferry Way and State Street, less than a block from Northgate.


Q:  I am a smoker; will I be able to smoke in my apartment?

A:  No. All of our apartments are non-smoking.


Q:  Do you serve meals?

A:  Yes! We serve a noon meal Monday thru Friday, five days per week. The meal is provided by Metro Meals on Wheels at a suggested donation of $4.00 per meal.


Q:  Mom has a small dog; do you accept pets?

A:  Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Fees and rules apply. We are pet-friendly to friendly pets! Of course, Service Animals are always welcome.
